Quake4iPhone has just been released by no other than Zodttd, also responsible for the SNES, PSX and Megadrive emulators on the iPhone.

The game comes complete with the shareware WAD's, but if you own the original game you are able to replace these with the full version.

Quake starts up in landscape mode, runs extremely smoothly, but suffers from the fact your controls are overlayed on screen. This means you tend to cover parts of the screen you wish to see when playing. After completing the first 4 levels, I can say it's definitely worth installing, especially if you were anything like me, an avid quake player for many years.

The game is available for FREE via cydia on iphone version 2.0

Make sure you upgrade all essential cydia packages first, other wise you will recieve 'POSIX: Operation Timed Out', 'Source Error' etc.
